Baton with a long, silver fitting; body made of light wood with a cylindrical silver fitting along 3/4 of the length; it begins with a plain knob, followed by floral and geometrical engravings and an inscription frame. The baton was presented in 1927 to James Parker by the Scottish brass band Jamestown & Vale of Leven Silver Band – the rare form of the baton may refer to the “silver” appellation of the band.
